When you have come to a new city on a weekend, you usually want to see as many places of interest as possible. However, you may not want to run yourself ragged. If you have just two days, this guide will help you have a great weekend in Chicago.

Day One:

Say you arrived in Chicago in the evening after the long working week. A deep-dish pizza will help you feel more comfortable before you start your walking holiday.

After a meal, head over to The Second City to explore Chicago tourist attractions. Luckily, there are plenty of them. Just type “Chicago tourist attractions” in the search line of your mobile device and let adventures begin.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised to see that Chicago is an incredibly walkable city.

Day Two:

After a busy day of Chicago sightseeing, you may want to start the morning with a cup of coffee with milk.

Then, we would suggest you seeing the Millennium Park to get some typical tourist shots. After all, Chicago sightseeing will be incomplete without taking a cheesy photo at The Bean.

If you are thinking about where to go in Chicago then, head over to The Art Institute of Chicago.

You will feel hungry at this point, and, luckily, there are many places to eat in Chicago. Before walking over to The Field Museum, take a minute and grab a quick bite at one of three dining establishments of the Art Institute.

We suggest you visiting Girl and the Goat restaurant. You can choose Meat, Fish or Vegetable dishes with additional listings for goat, oysters, and bread.  Be sure to try at least one of the Girl and the Goat’s creative desserts. After all this eating, you will want to stretch your legs.

If you have free time, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium are not far from the Girl and the Goat and definitely worth visiting.

Day Three:

Perennial Virant in Lincoln Park does an upscale breakfast menu, and it is the best way to start your last day in Chicago. You will find awesome homemade doughnuts in the menu.

After a hearty breakfast, head over to Wrigley Field to taste authentic Chicago-style hot dogs. If you have eating pants, we would definitely suggest you wearing them.

Before you know it, your Chicago gastro weekend is gone. But remember, Chicago has a lot of places of interest that are worth coming back here again.
